Sindh Government Hospital Korangi-05 Karachi invites bids for the procurement of diet for patients during the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement is for supplying cooked meals as per the approved weekly menu to all admitted patients at the hospital. Items being procured include: - Breakfast: Eggs, Suji Halwa, Chola, Slice Bread, Tea, Biscuits - Lunch: Chicken with Curd and Salad (3 days a week), Meat with Curd and Salad (2 days a week), Mixed Seasonal Vegetables with Curd and Salad (2 days a week), Roti, Rice, Seasonal Fruits - Dinner: Dal Moong, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice, Roti, Sweet Dish (Kheer/Kheerni) - Potable Water: Small Mineral Water Bottle (500 ml) for each bed with meals and Large Mineral Water Bottle at 9:00 PM The scope includes supply and serving of complete daily diet items 24/7 to patients with special diets for pediatric, diabetic, and restricted cases as recommended. The hospital provides kitchen facilities including cooking space, electricity, gas, and water. The vendor is responsible for kitchen hygiene, utensil maintenance, and supplying medically fit staff in proper uniforms. Meals must be transported hygienically in stainless steel trolleys and served in covered disposable utensils. The Medical Superintendent and Procurement Committee will monitor quality and hygiene continuously. Eligibility requires valid NTN, Professional Tax, Sindh Food Business License, FBR registration, three years relevant experience, turnover of at least Rs. 100 million over three years, and affidavit of no blacklisting. Bid security of 5% of the total budget (Rs. 33.439 million) in the form of pay order is mandatory.
