Tender Description
The Federal Government Polyclinic Islamabad (FGPC-PGMI) invites eligible suppliers to participate in the procurement of electro-medical equipment specifically for the Urology Department under the PSDP project titled Strengthening and Up-Gradation of Cardiology and other Departments for the financial years 2025-26 and 2026-27. This procurement is based in Islamabad and requires supply of advanced medical devices including resectoscopes, cystoscopes, urethrotomes, ureteroscopes, holmium lasers, flexible ureterorenoscopes, endoscopic cameras, LED light sources, nephroscopes, laparoscopes, lithotripters, dilator sets, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripters among others.
The technical scope demands equipment with specific certifications such as FDA 510K, CE, MHLW, or ISO13485 for local instruments. Warranty of three years with full spare parts coverage and planned preventive maintenance is mandatory. Installation, testing, commissioning, and after-sales services including periodic maintenance during the warranty period are required. The supplier must have a minimum of three years experience supplying electro-medical equipment to public or tertiary care hospitals, with valid PEC registration for biomedical engineers and financial capability demonstrated by bank statements and audit reports for the last three financial years.
Bidders must submit their bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Friday, June 26, 2026, 09:00 AM, with a technical bid followed by a financial bid under the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid security must be submitted physically before the deadline. The submission address is Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI), G-6/2, Islamabad. The bid validity period is 180 days. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 3% performance guarantee and sign a contract agreement.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and to prepare all technical documentation including quality certifications, technical brochures, and manufacturer authorizations in advance. Early preparation and compliance with all technical and financial requirements will enhance the chances of success in this competitive procurement.
