Purchase of Fertilizers for Vegetable Research Institute Faisalabad

The Vegetable Research Institute Faisalabad, under the office of the Principal Scientist, invites tenders for the purchase of fertilizers essential for the production of various vegetable crops at its main station and allied sites. This procurement is open to manufacturing firms, authorized distributors, dealers, and general order suppliers with established financial and managerial credentials, registered for income and sales tax. Items being procured: - DAP (50 Kg Bag), Quantity: 32 - SOP (50 Kg Bag), Quantity: 30 - Peat Moss/Compost (250 Ltr Capacity), Quantity: 5 The procurement will follow the Punjab e-Procurement System on an item-wise rate basis. Bid security amounts are specified for each item and must be submitted through the e-Procurement System to be considered valid. The tender process will adopt a Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure as per PPRA Rules 38, with bids marked as 'FINANCIAL PROPOSAL'. Fertilizer quality will be sampled and must meet purity standards for acceptance. The rates quoted should include all applicable taxes and government duties. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance under clause 35(1) of the Punjab Procurement Rules (PPR). All bids must be submitted by 08 September 2026 by 02:00 PM, with opening at 02:30 PM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Bidders are advised to ensure timely submission through the Punjab e-Procurement System and to carefully review all terms and conditions to avoid disqualification. Earnest money in the form of bid security is mandatory and must be refundable. The offered rates shall remain valid for 120 days from the bid opening date.
