Tender Description
The NTU-KC (Registrar Office) is procuring a complete 15 KW Hybrid Solar System for its Karachi Campus. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and involves supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a high-quality solar power system.
The technical scope includes Tier 1 grade photovoltaic modules with 600W capacity or better, N-Type Bifacial TOPCon technology, and efficiency of 23% or higher. The system must be compatible with existing solar infrastructure and include certified inverters with advanced features such as LiFePO4 battery support, high efficiency, and comprehensive protection mechanisms. Battery specifications require internationally recognized brands with local warranty support, 10 Kwh capacity, and high discharge rates. All cabling must comply with IEC standards, be properly insulated, and installed with attention to waterproofing and safety. The mounting structure should be galvanized iron with a 25-year life guarantee, designed for optimal tilt and wind resistance. Civil works include rooftop installation with no damage and proper drainage considerations.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with FBR and other relevant authorities, with a proven track record and technical capability. The bid submission deadline is **May 19, 2026 14:00:00** via EPADS v2.0, with manual submissions not accepted. Bidders must submit bid security as specified and comply with all tender conditions.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all samples and technical documentation are submitted timely and comply strictly with the specifications to avoid disqualification. Familiarity with EPADS v2.0 registration and submission process is essential for successful participation.
