Tender Description
Tenders are invited by the National Logistics Corporation for the purchase of K-II Oil and Coal specifically for heating purposes at the Silk Route Dry Port located in Sost, Hunza. This procurement is critical for maintaining operational heating requirements at this strategic dry port in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Items being procured:
- Purchase of K-II Oil (2835.684 Liters)
- Purchase of Coal (6742.2 Kgs)
The tender will be awarded to the lowest bidder who demonstrates the required technical skills and relevant experience in the supply of these materials. The scope involves supplying quality K-II Oil and Coal suitable for heating applications at the dry port site.
Interested bidders must submit their tenders to the Manager Operations at Silk Route Dry Port Sost, Hunza. The submission deadline is **16 November 2026** by 1200 hours, with the tender opening scheduled for the same day at 1230 hours. Bidders should ensure compliance with PPRA Rules 2026, particularly Clause (45), as the NLC reserves the right to cancel or reject any or all offers prior to acceptance.
Bidders are advised to prepare their technical and financial bids carefully, ensuring all required documentation and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or CDR is included as per tender requirements. Experience in supplying heating fuels and coal to similar scale operations will be advantageous.
A practical tip for bidders is to verify the quality standards of K-II Oil and Coal before submission and to coordinate timely delivery logistics to the remote location of Sost, Hunza, to avoid any delays or penalties.
