Purchase of Medical Items for Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology & National Institute of Heart Diseases Rawalpindi

The Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology & National Institute of Heart Diseases Rawalpindi invites sealed quotations from local firms, sole suppliers, distributors, importers, and authorized agents registered with the Sales Tax Department for the purchase of medical items during the financial year 2026/27. The procurement will follow an Open Free Bidding procedure under the Single Stage Two Envelope system. Bidding documents can be collected from the Bio Medical Store located on the 1st Floor of the institute. Items being procured: - Various medical items (specific list not provided in the notice) Bidders must submit sealed quotations mentioning equipment-wise specifications, warranty of minimum six months, delivery period, prices, brand, country of origin, and year of manufacture. Quotations should reach the undersigned or be dropped in the Quotation Box placed in the Chief Biomedical Office on the 4th Floor by 1000 hours on 23 September 2026. Technical proposals will be opened the same day at 1100 hours by the tender opening committee. Financial proposals of technically qualified bidders will be opened on 24 September 2026 at 1100 hours. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all quotations wholly or partially at any time before acceptance. The firm must deliver items as per supply orders within 10 working days of receipt. Legal action may be taken against firms that quote rates but fail to supply items on time. For items originating from China, only Grade-I products will be accepted. Quotations must include all applicable taxes such as Income Tax and GST. Validity of quotations must be up to 31 August 2027. A basic tender opening fee of Rs. 2000 must be submitted in cash at the Biomedical Store. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical proposals with complete specifications and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification.
