Tender Description
The 506 Electronics Base Workshop EME Rawalpindi is procuring Radar and Optronics spares as detailed in Annexure A. This procurement is specifically for the Electronics Base Workshop located in Rawalpindi, Punjab. The tender invites quotations from well reputed and experienced firms, preferably those cleared by military intelligence for security reasons. The scope includes supply of various spares and stores related to radar and optronics equipment, with detailed technical specifications and quantities available from the office upon payment of a tender fee of Rs. 3000.
The technical bid must include warranty or guarantee details, OEM calibration certificates with last calibration dates for tools and test equipment, manufacturing dates for quoted items, and alternate options for obsolete or phased-out items. Quotations should also provide sub-accessories, technical specifications, delivery periods, and evidence of similar projects undertaken in previous financial years. Installation instructions and trade links for genuine OEM parts are also required. The commercial offer must quote rates in PKR inclusive of all government taxes, with no blank columns allowed. The format provided by the workshop must be strictly followed, and quotations must be submitted in both hard and soft copies.
Eligibility requires firms to be well established with relevant experience and security clearance. Firms with pending deliveries exceeding three months are barred from participation. The technical proposal will be opened on 12 May 2026 at 11:00 hours, followed by the financial proposal after evaluation. All quotations must be submitted before 10:30 hours on the same day. Presence of firm representatives at bid opening is mandatory. For clarifications, contact the Local Purchase Officer at 061-5494062 during office hours.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully study the specifications and ensure all documents, including advance samples for indigenous items, are complete and submitted in the prescribed format. Overwriting or cutting in quotations should be avoided to prevent rejection. Timely submission and compliance with all terms will enhance chances of success in this competitive procurement.
