Reclamation and Replacement of Damaged 100-KVA Distribution Transformers

Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites sealed tenders for the reclamation and replacement of damaged irreparable 100-KVA distribution transformers. The project is based in Gujranwala at the 132-KV Grid Station Shaheenabad. The scope includes reclamation and replacement of damaged parts such as cores, tubes, defective bodies, and elliptical tubes as per WAPDA/PEPCO specifications DDS84:2020 (amended to date except amendment No.5). A total quantity of 200 transformers is involved. This tender is open to registered and pre-qualified firms with a proven track record in manufacturing and reclaiming transformers, especially those familiar with DISCOs, NTDC, and WAPDA standards. Firms must be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the FBR and provide a valid Bid Guarantee/CDR from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan, valid for 150 days. The bid validity period is 120 days from the tender opening date. Tender documents can be obtained from the E-PADs/PPRA website www.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted through E-PADs, with manual bids also accepted at the office of the Regional Manager (M&T), GEPCO Gujranwala, 132 KV Grid Station Shaheenabad. The tender submission deadline is 21st July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening at 11:30 AM the same day. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the Bid Guarantee/CDR amounting to Rs. 840,000 is prepared well in advance and complies with the validity requirements.
