Tender Description
Wah Industries Limited, through Wah Brass Mill, invites sealed quotations from qualified foreign and indigenous suppliers for miscellaneous refractory items required for its production operations. The procurement is designated as a foreign purchase, while eligible local suppliers may quote on a free-delivery-to-Wah-Brass-Mill basis in PKR. Delivery terms for foreign offers are CPT Islamabad or CFR Karachi, with seaworthy or airworthy packing.
Mandatory item list: Sr. 1, Promation JM 23 HD NF-1 furnace bath insulation bricks, size 230 x 115 x 65 mm, unit No., quantity 500. Sr. 2, ALSI Block D-Paste, Promat brand, 25 kg bucket, unit Kg, quantity 50. Sr. 3, wet refractory lining CALDE CAST-LA-50 SZ, recommended temperature 1650 °C, quantity 5,000 Kg, supplied in 25 kg bags, with specified alumina, silica, silicon carbide, zirconia and calcium oxide composition. Sr. 4, dry refractory lining CALDE Mix BM70S, recommended temperature 1600 °C, quantity 1,250 Kg, supplied in 25 kg bags, with specified alumina, silica, silicon carbide and ferric oxide composition. The annexure and schedule contain the detailed specifications.
Offers must provide technical literature, validity of at least 90 days from opening, delivery schedule, warranty or guarantee information and a signed undertaking. Technical and commercial offers must be sealed separately, with no prices in the technical envelope. Indigenous bidders must include a non-refundable tender fee of **PKR 2,500** and bid money of **PKR 250,000** by pay order in the technical offer. The successful bidder must provide a 10 percent performance guarantee; no guarantee is required below US$50,000 CFR value. Local payment is after receipt and acceptance, while foreign payment is through irrevocable letter of credit.
The sealed courier or surface-mail submission must reach GM-BD, POFs Bid Centre, Room 02, behind Rabta Hall, POFs Wah Cantt, Post Code 47040, by **11:00 on 16 September 2026**. Opening is at 11:30 the same day. Email and fax submissions are rejected. Suppliers should cross-check every chemical specification, packing requirement and delivery commitment against the annexure before sealing both envelopes.
