Tender Description
The SFMBK Institute of Cardiology in Dera Ghazi Khan is inviting electronic bids from qualified firms, contractors, suppliers, and service providers through the Punjab e-Procurement System (e-PS) for the Financial Year 2026-2027. This procurement is conducted under the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules, 2014 (as amended). The department is seeking to register vendors and award annual contracts for a variety of essential medical and operational supplies and services.
Items being procured:
- Registration of Vendors for Local Purchase Quotations (LPQ) of Medicines, Surgical Disposables and other Items
- Annual Contract for Operation, Repair & Maintenance of Patient Bed Lifts (including all Spares, Parts & Consumables)
- Bulk Purchase of Books for Library of SFMBK Institute of Cardiology
- Annual Contract for Repair, Maintenance & Services of CCTV Cameras, UPS & Networking (including all Spares & Parts)
- Procurement of General Store, Other Store Items, Printing Material, Stationery, OT Items, X-Ray/MRI Films, CSSD, Laundry, BME Accessories, Maintenance & Repair, Bedding & Clothing Items
- Procurement of Bulk Purchase of Surgical Disposables (Cardiac Surgery, Angio Cardiology & Allied Items)
The scope covers a wide range of medical consumables, equipment maintenance, library resources, and general operational supplies. The contracts include repair and maintenance services for critical hospital infrastructure such as patient bed lifts and CCTV systems, ensuring continuous functionality and safety. The procurement also includes essential consumables for cardiac surgery and angiography, reflecting the specialized nature of the institute.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the relevant PEC categories where applicable, possess valid FBR and Active Taxpayer List (ATL) registration, and demonstrate relevant experience in similar contracts. The procurement follows a Single Stage - Two Envelope Procedure, requiring separate submission of technical and financial proposals electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System.
Key dates include a pre-bid meeting on 2026-08-07 at 11:00 AM, with the last date for online bid submission and technical bid opening on 2026-08-15 at 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM respectively. Bids received after the deadline will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely electronic submission of bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost through the e-Procurement System, as physical financial instruments like CDRs or pay orders will not be accepted. Careful adherence to the e-Procurement guidelines and timely submission will enhance the chances of successful participation.
