Rehabilitation of Deteriorated Chilled Water Pipe Support Infrastructure at JIAP Karachi

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Karachi invites bids for the phase-wise rehabilitation of deteriorated chilled water pipe support infrastructure at the service tunnel of the Utility Building, Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi. Fabrication and installation of heavy duty M.S. supports including vertical U-section, horizontal double U-section, base plates, H-section beam supports, pipe saddles, welding, gusset plates, anchor bolts, nuts, and drilling holes are required. Additionally, providing and fixing heavy duty double cylinder roller pipe support blocks with cast iron rollers, pedestal type support frames, and high carbon steel pins for main supply and return chilled water pipelines on H-section support beams is included. The work also covers removal of damaged and corroded steps and railing pipes, fabrication of steps of stairs with M.S. checker sheet (17.2 sqm, 4.5mm thick) including bending, cutting, welding, and railing with 1 inch diameter M.S. conduit pipes. Casting of cement concrete columns (15x15x4) for foundation of steel structure supports at site is part of the contract. Cleaning and painting of newly erected prepared surfaces with corrosive medium life coating system by one coat of zinc rich primer and two coats of epoxy paint (Nippon, Kansai, Jotun or equivalent) using air spray machine is also included. The contractor must comply with PEC registration category C-6 or above with specialization code ME-01, valid NTN, ATL registration, and provide bid security of PKR 35,000.
