Rehabilitation and Electrification of Existing Primary Schools in Shikarpur and Kashmore

The Executive Engineer Education Works (E) Division Larkano is procuring rehabilitation and electrification works for five existing primary schools located in the districts of Shikarpur and Kashmore, specifically at GBPS Qaimuddin Chachar, GBPS Tagio Khan Jafferi, GBPS Allah Jeewayo Khan, GBPS Allah Wadhayo Chachar, and GBPS Miral Jafferi. This tender covers electrical wiring, installation of ceiling fans, circuit breakers, switches, and earthing sets as per the detailed Bill of Quantities. The scope includes surface wiring with PVC insulated copper conductors, fixing of Bakelite ceiling roses, brass battern holders, and provision of electrical measuring instruments such as ammeters and voltmeters. The works are to be executed under the supervision of the Executive Engineer with strict adherence to specifications and timelines. Eligible bidders must possess valid NTN, FBR and SRB registrations, and an Electric Inspectorate License for the concerned region. Experience in similar works within the last five years is mandatory, with at least one contract valued at 80% of the estimated cost or two contracts each at 50%. The average annual financial turnover should not be less than the project cost over the last five years. Bidders are required to submit their bids in a properly sealed envelope along with the prescribed bid security of 5% of the estimated cost. The bid validity period is 90 days. The deadline for submission and opening of bids will be as notified in the NIT at the office of the Executive Engineer Education Works Electrical Division Larkano, located near the High Court Building, CMC Road Larkano. The contract duration is 15 months from the date of commencement. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all corrections in the bid documents are clearly re-written with initials and stamps to avoid disqualification. Also, timely submission before the deadline is critical as late bids will be rejected outright. Earnest Money in the form of CDR must be attached as per the tender requirements to secure the bid.
