Tender Description
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites bids for the rehabilitation and improvement of Road Thandi Sarak Main Hawksbay Road towards Abdullah Shah Ashabi Graveyard located in UC-02 & 03, TMC Maripur, District Keamari, Karachi. This tender is issued by the Engineering Department of KMC and is open to eligible contractors.

The project involves civil works for road rehabilitation and improvement, requiring specialized construction expertise and adherence to quality standards. The site is in Karachi, and the work is funded through KMC's own funds.
Eligibility criteria include a valid PEC license in Category C-4 or above with specialization codes CE01, CE09, CE10. Bidders must also have NTN and SRB registration certificates, be on active tax payer lists of FBR and SRB, and provide an affidavit regarding no blacklisting or litigation in the last five years. Annual audit reports from ICAP registered firms for the last five years are mandatory. The bidder must submit a construction schedule in bar chart format and demonstrate an average annual turnover not less than the cost of the work in the last five years. Experience in similar works with completion certificates is required, with at least one work having 80% of the estimated cost or two works each having 50% of the estimated cost. A bio-data of engineering and technical staff working with the firm must be included.
Bidding documents are available for download from the SPPRA Sindh EPADS portal (http://portalsindh.eprocurement.gov.pk). Bids must be submitted online only via the EPADS system by 27-10-2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual physical submissions or hard copies will not be accepted. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, and the tender cost is Rs. 5,000 payable via pay order from any scheduled bank in favor of KMC.
