Tender Description
The Punjab Highways Department invites tenders from registered Engineering Firms and Contractors for multiple road rehabilitation and improvement projects in Sargodha District. These works are to be executed under the PPRA E-Tendering System, ensuring transparency and ease of participation for all eligible firms.
Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation and improvement of internal city link roads including Azad Road 1/C Link Chandni Chowk, New Urdu Bazar, Grain Market, Pilot School Road, Ara Market Road (2.60 KM)
- Rehabilitation and reconstruction of road from Shamma Chowk to Stadium Gate 1/C Link Cheema Heart Center (0.95 KM)
- Rehabilitation and reconstruction of road from Johar Colony to Fatima Jinnah Road via Ghewala Phattak along Harphura Bridge (0.30 KM)
- Beautification of Sial More Road and Interchange
- Rehabilitation, reconstruction, and fixing of Tuff Paver Link Road University Road to Queen Road via Gulshan-e-Bilal (0.70 KM)
The technical scope includes laying rigid pavement using concrete batching plants and concrete paving machines. Surfacing works will be mechanized using TST/DST systems. No cost overruns or price variations will be accepted as per contract clauses. Recovery against credit of old material will be adjusted manually. Contractors must submit claims electronically via Digital Measurement Book.
Eligibility requires valid PEC registration in relevant categories for Financial Year 2026-27 and registration on Punjab PPRA website. A 5% bid security of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally via E-Pay system through Bank of Punjab. Performance Guarantee of 10% of contract amount is mandatory within 15 days of offer letter issuance.
The tender opening will be held on 06-10-2026 at 01:30 PM at the office of Commissioner Sargodha Division, Sargodha. Bidders must quote item rates and total amounts clearly. Submission is through the PPRA e-procurement portal.
