The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Engineering Department invites bids for the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Internal Streets at different wards in UC-05 Lyari, District South, Karachi. This procurement is for comprehensive civil works including paver road construction, sewerage system rehabilitation, and PE pipe works. Items being procured: - Dismantling of cement concrete work - Earth excavation and cartage of materials - Cement concrete plain work - Providing and fixing cement paving blocks - Repair of leakages in RCC and MS pipelines - Raising of existing sewerage manholes and service chambers - Excavation for pipeline trenches and pits - Providing and laying aggregate base course - Pumping and dewatering services - Providing and fixing RCC pipes and manhole covers - Cleaning and de-silting of sewerage lines - Manufacturing and supplying RCC manhole covers - Excavation and laying of HDPE pipes and fittings - Providing and fixing sluice valves and accessories - Construction of chambers for sluice valves The technical scope covers all civil, sanitary, and pipeline works as per detailed Bill of Quantities and specifications. Bidders must be registered with PEC in relevant categories, possess valid NTN and SRB registrations, and meet the eligibility criteria including experience, equipment availability, and financial capacity. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost is required in the form of Pay Order/CDR/Bank Guarantee. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA EPADS portal by 03-09-2026 at 11:00 AM. The bid opening will be conducted online on the same day at 11:30 AM. The contract duration is 10 months with a penalty of Rs. 3000 per day for delay.
