The Executive Engineer Buildings Division Works & Services Department Thatta invites bids for the Rehabilitation and Renovation of Quarter No. B-56 Hashimabad Colony Thatta @ Makli. This project involves comprehensive civil works including dismantling, cement concrete, plastering, painting, joinery, flooring with glazed tiles and marble, roofing, and water supply and sanitation fittings. The scope covers structural repairs, finishing, and installation of sanitary fixtures to restore the quarter to functional condition. The technical scope includes removal of old plaster and tiles, laying new cement concrete blocks, plastering with cement mortar, painting with approved materials, fixing aluminum frames and deodar wood joinery, installation of sanitary fittings such as W.C pans, wash basins, urinals, and associated plumbing works. The site is located in Thatta city, Sindh province. Eligible bidders must be licensed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category for works exceeding Rs. 2.5 million and registered with FBR/ATL. Experience in similar rehabilitation projects is required. Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 154,550/- (5% of bid price) in the form of pay order, demand draft, or bank guarantee. The contract duration is 360 days with a defect liability period of 30 days. The bid submission deadline is 10:00 AM on 14.05.2026 at the Office of the Executive Engineer Buildings Division Thatta. Bids will be opened at 11:00 AM the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The bid validity period is 90 days.
