Tender Description
The Metropolitan Corporation Lahore invites bids for the rehabilitation and restoration of various roads across multiple zones in Lahore. This procurement is aimed at improving the road infrastructure to enhance traffic flow and safety in the city. The works are divided into five key projects located in Allama Iqbal, Nishtar, and Wahga zones.
Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation of Link Samsani Road Allama Iqbal Zone
- Restoration of Road Cut at Kahna Nau, Nishtar Zone
- Restoration of Road Cut at Shalimar Town & Faisal Town Kahna Nau Nishtar
- Rehabilitation of Main Turki Road
- Special Repair / Rehabilitation of Road From Kheray Bridge to Jallo Village Road and Link Wahga
These projects involve extensive civil works including road surface rehabilitation, restoration of damaged road cuts, and special repairs on major thoroughfares. The scope requires contractors to have expertise in road construction and maintenance, with the ability to manage large-scale urban infrastructure projects. The estimated costs range from approximately PKR 5.4 million to PKR 161 million per project, indicating significant scale and complexity.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 and above for smaller projects and C-4 and above for larger ones. Firms should also be registered with FBR and have a valid Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status. Experience in similar urban road rehabilitation projects will be advantageous.
The bidding documents are available on the Punjab E-Procurement system and the PPRA website. Bidders must submit their E-bids by uploading PDF files on the Punjab E-Procurement system by 18-08-2026 at 10:30 AM. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM at Town Hall, The Mall Road Lahore.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all documents are duly signed and stamped by authorized representatives and to strictly follow the single stage one envelope bidding procedure. Any amendments or cutting in the bid documents through the electronic system are not allowed and may lead to rejection.
