Rehabilitation and Upgrading of the Existing 3MW Misgar Hydropower Plant in Hunza District Gilgit-Baltistan

NPAK Energy Limited invites bids for the rehabilitation and upgrading of the existing 3MW Misgar Hydropower Plant located in Hunza District, Gilgit-Baltistan. This project is part of the Energy Plus initiative funded by the European Union aimed at enhancing climate resilience in Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper and Lower Chitral Districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The scope involves comprehensive works to restore and improve the hydropower plant's capacity and efficiency. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation and upgrading works for the 3MW Misgar Hydropower Plant The technical scope includes civil, mechanical, and electrical works necessary for the plant's rehabilitation. This involves site works at the existing hydropower facility, upgrading turbines, generators, and associated infrastructure to ensure improved performance and reliability. Bidders must be experienced in hydropower plant rehabilitation and possess relevant PEC categories and valid FBR/ATL registration. Bids must be submitted to Kamal House, Karimabad Link Road, Near F.G Boys High School Aliabad Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. The bid security required is PKR 6,360,000. Bids will be opened on 28 August 2026 at 14:00 hours in the presence of bidders' representatives. The submission deadline is strictly 14:00 hours on the same day.
