Tender Description
The Pakistan Air Force Base Rafiqui located in Shorkot Cantt, Punjab, is inviting contractors and firms to participate in the removal of scrap material from the Thal Firing Range. This contract spans a period of two years, starting from 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2028. The scope involves clearing and removing scrap materials from the designated firing range area, ensuring the site is maintained and cleared as per the requirements of the base administration.
Interested bidders must submit their applications in sealed envelopes addressed to the Officer In-Charge Personnel Squadron Admin Wing at PAF Base Rafiqui, Shorkot Cantt. The deadline for submission is strictly by 14th June 2026 at 1100 hours, with the bidding process commencing the same day at 1200 hours. All bidders are required to deposit an earnest money amounting to PKR 500,000 as a refundable CDR, except for the two successful bidders who will have their deposits refunded on the spot.
Bidders should ensure they bring their original CNIC along with a photocopy during the submission. The successful bidders will also bear the cost of advertisement publication. While the tender notice does not specify PEC categories or FBR/ATL registration requirements, it is advisable for interested parties to have relevant experience in scrap removal or similar services and to comply with all applicable procurement regulations.
A practical tip for bidders is to prepare a comprehensive technical bid that clearly outlines their capability to manage the scrap removal efficiently over the two-year period. Timely submission and adherence to the bid security requirements will be critical to avoid disqualification. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for firms specializing in environmental cleanup and site maintenance within military installations.
