Tender Description
Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) invites bids for the renovation of Bait Ul Hamd Mosque located within KS&EW premises in Karachi. This procurement is specifically for national contractors or firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-3 or above. The project involves renovation works at the mosque, requiring experienced contractors familiar with civil works and mosque restoration.

The technical scope includes all civil works necessary for the mosque renovation at the KS&EW site, West Wharf Dockyard Road, Karachi. Bidders must ensure compliance with PEC registration requirements and demonstrate relevant experience in similar projects. The bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the General Manager (Services & Civil Work) KS&EW during working hours from 0900 to 1600 on working days upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Pak Rupees Six Thousand (Rs.6,000) via pay order in favor of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Pak Rupees One Hundred Thousand (Rs.100,000) in the form of a pay order valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity date. The technical bids will be opened on 24th August 2026 at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders’ representatives. Financial bids of technically qualified firms will be opened later, with dates intimated accordingly. Financial bids of rejected firms will be returned unopened.
The submission deadline is 24th August 2026 at 1100 hours at the office of GM (S&CW) KS&EW. KS&EW reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Rule-33 of PPRA Rules 2004. Late bids will not be entertained.
