Renovation and Rehabilitation of Command and Control at DP and CF Malir Karachi

The Prisons Department Sindh invites sealed tenders for the Renovation and Rehabilitation of Command and Control at DP and CF Malir Karachi. This procurement is managed by the Project Director, Project Management Unit (PMU), Prisons Department Sindh, with the camp office located at Central Prison, Karachi. Items being procured: - Renovation and rehabilitation civil works including dismantling glazed tiles, removing windows and doors, excavation, cement concrete, brick work, plastering, wood boarding, aluminum channel framing, door closers, mortice locks, false ceilings, wall panel sheets, deodar wood almirah, doors and windows, glazed tiles flooring, iron works, surface painting, and polishing. - Electrical works including wiring for light and fan points, plug points, switches, sockets, PVC sheathed copper conductor laying, and earthing set installation. The technical scope covers comprehensive civil and electrical works at the specified prison facilities, requiring high-quality workmanship and adherence to specifications. The project duration is six months from the date of commencement. Eligibility criteria include valid CNIC, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration up to June 2027 in the appropriate category, active Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) tax registration, proven experience in high-security prison works, minimum financial turnover, submission of bank statements, technical staff CVs, labor registration certificate, and a list of equipment and machinery. Bidders must also submit an undertaking on Rs. 500 e-stamp paper regarding litigation, blacklisting, and document authenticity. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, and the bid validity period is 90 days. Technical bids will be opened on the submission deadline date at 09:45 A.M. at the PMU office in Central Prison Karachi. Original tender fee, bid security, and e-stamping affidavits must be submitted in a sealed envelope before bid opening.
