Conservation, Preservation & Restoration of Heritage Sites in Sindh

The Directorate General of Antiquities & Archaeology, under the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department Government of Sindh, Karachi, invites bids for the Conservation, Preservation & Restoration of Heritage Sites in Sindh. This tender covers specialized works on important archaeological and heritage sites including the Mere Pavilion at Shahi Bagh District Shikarpur, Stupa of Thull Mir Rukan at District Shaheed Benazirabad, Archaeological Site Mansurah Bharmanabad District Sanghar, Fortification wall of Tomb of Ghulam Shah Kalhoro at District Hyderabad, and Tomb of Mia Illyas Kalhoro at District Larkana. Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories, have valid FBR/NTN registration, and demonstrate experience in similar conservation projects. Earnest money of Rs. 4,725,000/- is required. The bidding process follows Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with technical evaluation preceding financial bids. Bids must be submitted through the SPPRA EPAD system. The pre-bid meeting and bid opening will be held at the Directorate General of Antiquities & Archaeology, C-82, Block-2, Clifton Karachi. The contract duration is 10 months with a defects liability period of 365 days. Performance security of 3% of contract amount is required. Mobilization advance up to 10% of contract price is available against bank guarantee.
