Tender Description
Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, invites bids for renovation and repair works in the Auditorium Building (Phase-II) and providing & fixing PU SBR multi flooring for indoor sports in the Gymnasium Building at MUET, Jamshoro. These works are part of ongoing efforts to improve university infrastructure and sports facilities.

The renovation work includes detailed repair and refurbishment of the auditorium building, with specific attention to plumbing works where a premium "Below" is to be considered as "Below / Above" in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ). The unit measurement for synthetic carpet in the BoQ has been revised from Nos to Sft. Similarly, for the PU SBR multi flooring, all item units have been changed from Nos to Sft. These changes are critical for accurate bidding and measurement.
Bidders must ensure compliance with the updated instructions to bidders (ITB) and carefully review the revised BoQ. The works require experienced contractors familiar with university infrastructure and sports flooring installation. Earnest money and bid security requirements apply as per MUET procurement rules.
Tender documents will be issued starting from 24-08-2026. The deadline for submission for the Auditorium Building renovation (Sr. No. 3) is 18-09-2026 up to 11:00 a.m., and for the Gymnasium flooring work (Sr. No. 4) is 18-09-2026 up to 11:30 a.m. Bids will be opened on 18-09-2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the office of the Deputy Director (Procurement), MUET, Jamshoro.
