Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of rental furniture for SSC Examinations 2026 in Karachi under the Board of Secondary Education Karachi. The procurement covers approximately 65,000 pairs of tables and chairs along with additional items such as tents, water coolers, fans, jugs, and glasses to be supplied to examination centers across the city. The furniture must meet specified standards including table height and size, ensuring suitability for examinees. The supply must be completed at least one day before the examinations commence, with provisions for emergency supply during the examination period.
The contract requires bidders to have at least three years of experience in similar assignments with educational boards or examination authorities and a minimum turnover of PKR 60 million over the last three years. The procurement process follows the National Competitive Bidding method with a single stage one envelope procedure. Bid security of PKR 600,000 and a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 2,000 are mandatory. The Board will conduct physical inspections of bidders' godowns to verify quality and quantity before awarding the contract.
Bidders must be registered with EPADS (SPPRA), FBR, and Sindh Revenue Board and comply with all tax and regulatory requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26. The contract includes a performance security of up to 1% of the contract price, refundable after 90 days of satisfactory completion. Payment will be made in Pakistani Rupees within 30 days of complete delivery and acceptance.
The submission deadline is set for 10th March 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:00 Noon on the same day at the Board's office in Nazimabad Karachi. Bidders must submit two copies of their bids, including one soft copy via the EPADS portal and one sealed hard copy. The office address for submission is Room No. 33, 1st Floor, Block-B, Board of Secondary Education, Nazimabad Karachi.
