Tender Description
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites sealed tenders for the repair of damaged distribution transformers for the fiscal year 2026-27. The procurement is specifically for transformers to be delivered free of cost to IESCO Regional Stores located in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Rajjar, and Wah. This tender is issued by the Material Management department of IESCO Islamabad.

The technical scope requires repair work on 200 KVA distribution transformers following the latest WAPDA/NTDC specifications amended to date. The transformers must be repaired on an "as is where is" basis and delivered to the designated regional stores. The tender emphasizes compliance with the specified standards to ensure quality and reliability.
Eligible bidders must be registered with DISCOs, PPMC, WAPDA, NGC (formerly NTDC), and FBR. Firms should provide valid registration documents including NTN and STRN. The bid security amount is PKR 1,400,000 in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CDR from a scheduled bank rated A+ or above, valid for 150 days. The bid validity period is 120 days. Tender forms can be obtained from the Material Management office at IESCO Islamabad against a non-refundable fee of PKR 3,000.
The tender submission deadline is **17th August 2026 at 10:30 AM**, with opening at 11:00 AM the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at IESCO Head Office, G-7/4 Street No.40, Islamabad.
