The Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors and firms for various works at the GE (Navy) Construction Dockyard Karachi. This tender covers a range of repair, construction, and provision works under the supervision of the GE (Navy) Const Dockyard Karachi. Items being procured: - Consultancy for repair and refurbishment of the existing Portal Crane Track installed at Marine Railway PN Dockyard - Provision of Furniture for Construction of C&CC Security Enclave at PN Dockyard - Provision of external electrification for construction of New NCMA Building at NSSD Area - Provision of 300 KVA Transformer for construction of New NCMA Building at NSSD Area - Provision of external water supply for construction of New NCMA Building at NSSD Area - Provision of Furniture at PND, PNAD etc - Repair and Replacement work for GE (N) Const Dockyard office - Miscellaneous Minor and Maintenance Work - Miscellaneous Consultancy contract The scope includes repair and refurbishment of existing infrastructure, supply and installation of furniture, electrical works including transformer provision and external electrification, and water supply installation for new building construction. The works are to be carried out at the Karachi dockyard and associated areas. Eligible firms must be on the approved list of MES contractors or other government departments with relevant experience. Valid registration certificates from Pakistan Engineering Council, GST registration, NTN certificate, and bank statements are mandatory. Contractors not on the MES approved list or those suspended must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated bid cost in the form of FDR/CDR pledged to GE (Navy) Const Dockyard Karachi. This earnest money is refundable if the contractor is not pre-qualified or does not secure the contract. Applications will be scrutinized and tenders issued only to pre-qualified firms. Bids must be received by 1130 hours on 05 Oct 2026 and will be opened the same day at 1200 hours. Contractors may be present at the opening. The accepting officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender as per PPRA rules.
