Repair and Maintenance of Cantt Fund Buildings and Related Works in Malir Cantt

Cantonment Board Malir invites sealed bids from contractors/firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026-27 and active on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayers List. The procurement is for repair and maintenance works of various Cantt Fund assets in Malir Cantt, Karachi. The works are based on MES Schedule of Rates 2025 (amended) and include multiple original works with estimated costs as follows: - Repair/Maintenance of Cantt Fund Buildings (Rs. 90 Million) - Repair/Patch works of Roads in Cantt Area (Rs. 60 Million) - Repair/Maintenance of Drains/Sewerage lines (Rs. 45 Million) - Repair/Maintenance of Water Supply in Cantt Area (Rs. 23 Million) - Repair/Maintenance of Miscellaneous Public Improvement works (Rs. 276 Million) - Repair/Maintenance of Cantt Board Dispensary/Cantt General Hospital (Rs. 3 Million) - Repair/Maintenance of CB School/College Buildings Malir Cantt (Rs. 3 Million) The scope covers comprehensive repair and maintenance including civil, electrical, plumbing, and public improvement works across the Cantt area. Contractors must submit bids in two sealed envelopes: Technical Proposal with bidding document fee and Financial Proposal. Earnest money of 2% of estimated cost is required as Call Deposit. Technical bids will be opened first, followed by financial bids of technically qualified bidders. Performance guarantee of 10% of estimated cost is required if rates quoted are below 15% of MES rates. Eligibility requires valid PEC registration for 2026-27, FBR ATL status, and relevant experience supported by work orders and financial documents. Blacklisted or litigated contractors will be disqualified. Bids must be complete, signed, and stamped. The tender documents are available at Cantonment Board Malir office on Aziz Bhatti Road, Bostan Line, Malir Cantt for Rs. 1000 (non-refundable). The deadline for bid submission is 8th September 2025 at 12:30 PM, with technical bid opening at 1:00 PM the same day. Bids must be delivered to the Cantonment Board Malir office. All government taxes will be deducted as per policy. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
