Tender Description

The Public Health Engineering Division Malakand invites bids for the repair and maintenance of civil works in the existing Gravity Based Water Supply Scheme at Batkhela Town from River Swat for the fiscal year 2025-26. This procurement is specifically for contractors with specialization code CE-09 as per KPPRA procurement rules 2014. The project involves civil repair and maintenance activities to ensure the continued functionality and efficiency of the water supply infrastructure serving Batkhela. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the required category, have active KPPRA status, and hold a valid Federal Board of Revenue NTN registration. The scope includes detailed civil works as per the Bill of Quantities and Standard Bidding Documents available on the EPADs portal. The estimated cost of the project is bold PKR 10 million, with a bid security requirement of 2% plus duty. Bidders should submit their financial bids electronically via the EPAD system before the deadline of 10th June 2026 at 12:00 PM. The bids will be opened the same day at 1:00 PM in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives. Original bid securities must be physically submitted to the office before the closing time via registered post or courier. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that their bid is not more than 20% below the engineer’s estimate unless accompanied by detailed rate analysis and additional security, as non-compliance will lead to disqualification. Careful attention to the submission of both electronic and physical documents will improve chances of success in this competitive tender.
