Repair and Maintenance/Engine Overhauling and Other Electrical and Mechanical Works of Water Tanker in TMC Manghopir Town Karachi

Items being procured: - Engine overhauling work including replacement of ring seat, piston set, salve set, main & began set, head valve & guide with seat set, packing kit, oil filter, diesel filter, engine oil 14 liters, magic tube, head seal, oil pump, timing seal, timing belt, connecting rod, atomizer pump service, fuel ignition pump service with labor and vehicle rent - Machine work of engine block head including valve seat making, grinding, seating, head facing, crankshaft turning, polishing, piston seating - Clutch system overhauling including clutch plate, pressure plate, clutch cylinder, new flywheel - Fabrication/manufacturing of show cabin with dismantling and welding of M.S. plates - Fitting new vehicle chassis suitable for Mazda T-3500/Hino with epoxy paint - Fitting new battery 200 Amp (Exide/Osaka) with terminals - Repair/maintenance of atomizer pump with nozzle replacement - Service and maintenance of fuel ignition pump - Repair/maintenance of generator with parts replacement - Opening and refitting front & rear Kamani (spring leaf) set - Opening and refitting rear drum of wheel with new brake shoe - Fitting complete clutch plate with pressure plate - Fitting new radiator Steiner with bottom making - Repair/maintenance of oil pump with replacement of flincher and bearing - Fitting fuel pump with accessories - Fitting speed meter with dismantling of faulty meter - Fitting clutch cable (best quality, equivalent Japan) - Fitting new escalator wire (equivalent Japan) - Providing and fixing new crown pinion with star and dismantling old parts - Service and greasing of 4 side wheel and bearing replacement - Fitting wheel studs made with iron - Fitting head light with parking and indicator light (locally made) with wiring - Fitting back light with parking and indicator light with wiring - Complete new wiring with clips and switches - Repair/maintenance of self with bushes and corbin - Fitting clutch cylinder kit (imported) upper and lower - Repairing driving shaft with universal cross and fitting - Painting of complete tanker including show cabin, chassis, wheel drum with 2 coats of paint - Fitting new complete cylinder assembly with muffler, clamp, packing - Fabrication of new M.S. plate stand for de-watering engine - Fitting new gate valve 3" dia made with brass (locally made) The technical scope covers detailed mechanical and electrical repairs, fabrication, and maintenance works on the water tanker including engine, clutch, chassis, electrical wiring, and painting. The site is TMC Manghopir Town Karachi. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in C-06 & above category with relevant specialization, NTN certificate, professional tax, SRB certificate, bank statement, relevant experience, minimum three years turnover, and valid Sindh Government Electrical Contractor License as per Electricity Rules 1937. The tender documents are available at the TMC Manghopir (West) office during office hours upon submission of application on original letterhead and payment of tender cost via pay order. Bids must be submitted by 15-10-2026 at 12:00 PM and will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM in the presence of bidders at the office of the Executive Engineer (M&E) TMC Manghopir (West). Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost in the form of pay order or bank guarantee is mandatory. The successful bidder will provide a performance guarantee of 5% of the sanctioned cost and retention money of 5% will be deducted from running bills. The contract period is 45 days with a penalty of Rs. 500 per day for delay.
