Tender Description
The Town Municipal Corporation Gadap Karachi invites sealed bids for the repair and maintenance of the sewerage line from Haji Pir to Younas Textile Mill located at Kohi Goth UC Saleh Muhammad. This tender is part of the development works under the financial year 2026-2027 and is open to contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category. Items being procured:

The scope includes excavation of trenches, laying and jointing of RCC pipes with rubber rings, refilling excavated material, manufacturing and supplying precast RCC ring slabs and manhole covers, and construction of manholes as per approved designs. The work site is located in Karachi and involves civil works related to sewerage infrastructure.
Eligibility criteria require valid registration with Sindh Revenue Board, NTN certificate, PEC license where applicable, electrical license if applicable, and relevant experience of at least 5 years with similar works. The contractor must have a turnover of at least PKR 4 million over the last five years. Bid security of 5% of the bid price and a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 2000 are mandatory.
Bids must be submitted online through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) e-procurement portal by 11:00 AM on 4th September 2026. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the office of the Director Contract Management, Town Municipal Corporation Gadap, Dumba Goth, Superhighway Karachi. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. Earnest money must be in the form of Deposit at Call, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Bank Guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan.
Technical bids should include company profile, list of similar works completed in the last 3 years, details of construction equipment, qualifications and experience of technical personnel, financial statements, and information on litigations or abandoned works if any. The contract period is 3 months with a penalty of PKR 1000 per day for delay. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per SPPRA rules.
