Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) through CMES (Navy) COMCOAST Office at PNS Karsaz Karachi is procuring repair and maintenance works for various naval facilities in Karachi and nearby locations. The scope includes repair and maintenance of damaged boundary walls at AA section Manora Karachi, miscellaneous repair and rehabilitation of floating jetty at LSS Jiwani, provision of parking shed at fire brigade station JNB Ormara, construction of two rooms for VCB panels at 33rd Creeks Battalion PNCC Gharo, and supply of fresh water through bowzers to camps at LSS S-17 and GE (N) Eastern Garrison. These works involve civil construction, structural repairs, and facility maintenance at multiple naval sites.
Eligible contractors must be on the approved list 'D' of MES contractors or other government departments with relevant experience. Valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration and bank statements are mandatory. Contractors not on the MES approved list must provide proof of registration with the concerned department, financial standing, staff details, tools and plants inventory, and experience records for the last two years. Earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost in the form of FDR or Deposit At Call is required from non-approved contractors. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
The tender documents will be issued only to pre-qualified firms by 09 June 2026 at 1500 hours. Completed tenders must be submitted by 16 June 2026 at 1130 hours and will be opened the same day at 1200 hours. The submission address is the CMES (Navy) COMCOAST Office at PNS Karsaz Karachi. Bidders should ensure all required documents and earnest money are submitted timely to avoid disqualification.
