Tender Description
The Military Engineering Services (MES) Quetta Cantt invites sealed tenders for a comprehensive range of repair and maintenance works across various sites in Quetta Cantt and surrounding areas including Zhob and Loralai. The scope includes repair and maintenance of POL Bulk Installation, renovation of Halema block at AFNS Mess, repair of lavatory blocks and offices at various regiments, and maintenance of electric, water, and gas supply systems. Additionally, there are contracts for minor maintenance and replacement works, as well as supply of bazar materials for electrical and mechanical items.
The technical scope covers multiple sites such as SSD Zhob, CMH Quetta Cantt, 19 Baluch Regiment, 95 EME Quetta Cantt, and others. The works range from civil repairs, electrical and mechanical maintenance, to supply of materials. The contracts vary in duration from 1.5 months to 12 months depending on the specific work package.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted with MES in Category D or above. Firms must have sufficient experience in relevant fields and be registered with FBR and ATL. Contractors must also provide a certificate confirming no litigation or outstanding reports against them.
The tender documents will be issued only to scrutinized contractors who submit complete credentials. The tender must be received by 1130 hrs on 4th May 2026 and will be opened at 1200 hrs the same day. Tenderers should quote rates as per MES Schedule of Rates 2025 and Bazar Supply Schedule of Rates 2017 where applicable.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical and financial documents are meticulously prepared and submitted on time, as late or incomplete submissions will not be entertained. Familiarity with MES schedules and prior experience with similar contracts will enhance the chances of success.
