Tender Description
The Military Engineering Services office at GE (Air) MPO Chaklala is inviting sealed tenders for the repair, maintenance, and overhauling of miscellaneous Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) works. This procurement is specifically for contractors with experience in the relevant field and who meet the eligibility criteria set by the department in Chaklala, Punjab.
The scope of work includes various electrical and mechanical repair tasks, requiring contractors to have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and to be on the approved list of MES in category C. Contractors must also provide a certificate confirming no litigation or outstanding reports against them from government departments. The tender documents will be issued only to firms that satisfy these conditions and demonstrate sufficient experience in similar works.
Interested bidders should note that the tender must be submitted by 25th May 2026 before 1130 hours, with the opening scheduled at 1200 hours on the same day. The tender process follows PPRA rules, and the accepting officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender. Contractors are advised to prepare their Technical and Financial Bids carefully, ensuring all required documents such as Earnest Money and CDR are included as per the tender requirements.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their PEC registration and experience documentation are up to date and clearly presented, as only scrutinized contractors will be issued tender documents. Early submission and compliance with all technical criteria will enhance the chances of successful participation in this tender.
