Tender Description
This tender invites contractors to undertake the repair and rehabilitation of the Mini Auditorium and Multipurpose Building at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University in Larkana, Sindh. The project involves extensive civil works including dismantling, plastering, reinforced concrete, steel fabrication, painting, and installation of doors, windows, and aluminum glazing. The scope covers structural repairs, finishing, and installation of modern materials to restore the building's functionality and aesthetics.
The work site is located in Larkana, requiring contractors to manage logistics and site conditions effectively. The project demands skilled workmanship in reinforced concrete, masonry, carpentry, and finishing works. Contractors must ensure compliance with engineering standards and use quality materials such as deodar wood, mild steel, and approved paints. The rehabilitation includes structural strengthening, surface preparation, and application of protective coatings to enhance durability.
Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in the relevant category, be registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and have at least five years of experience in similar repair and rehabilitation projects. Tax returns for the last three years and an average annual turnover equivalent to the quoted cost are mandatory. Firms must not be blacklisted and should provide an affidavit if previously blacklisted but now delisted. The tender requires a 5% earnest money deposit and a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000.
The submission deadline is set for 25th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the Office of the Executive Engineer, SMBBMU, Larkana. Bids must be submitted online through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) in a sealed envelope. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per SPP Rules 2010 (amended).
