Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the repair and renovation of various Basic Health Units (BHUs) located in Baghbana, Wahir, Bajori, and Drakhala within Khuzdar city, Balochistan. The Public Health Engineering Department Khuzdar requires experienced contractors to execute these civil works under the Composite Schedule Rates 2023 on percentage basis for the fiscal year 2026. The scope includes structural repairs, refurbishment, and upgrading of facilities to ensure functional healthcare infrastructure in these rural areas.
The project demands quality construction materials and skilled workmanship to address the specific challenges of working in Khuzdar's terrain and climate. Contractors must be registered with the Balochistan PEC in the relevant category and demonstrate prior experience with at least two similar assignments. Financial capacity is also critical, with a minimum turnover of PKR 5,546,109 in the last four years required to ensure the bidder's capability to handle the project.
Bidders should ensure their firms are on the Active Taxpayer List and not blacklisted by any procuring agency. Compliance with Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 is mandatory. The tender requires a 2% bid security in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call. Tender documents are available for PKR 500 from the Deputy Commissioner's office.
The submission deadline is set for 13 February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 12:00 PM at the Deputy Commissioner's office in Khuzdar. Interested parties should prepare their technical and financial bids carefully, ensuring all documentation and eligibility criteria are met.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) format and the exact stamp duty requirements as specified in the tender documents, as these are common pitfalls that can lead to disqualification.
