Repair to the Special Persons Lift installed at BQA

The Quaid-i-Azam Mazar Management Board (QMMB) Karachi invites bids for the repair and servicing of the Special Persons Lift installed at BQA, Karachi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to restore full operational functionality to the lift dedicated for special persons and elderly citizens at the Quaid's Mausoleum site. Items being procured: - Lift Controllor (1 unit) - Car Operating Panel (COP) (1 unit) - Lift Encoder (1 unit) - Shaft Winding Coil (1 unit) - Hall Operating Panel (HOP) (2 units) - Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) (1 unit) - Reed Switches (4 units) The scope includes replacement of faulty components such as the 11Kw Original Monarch Controller with a Maintenance Box or equivalent, Car Operating Panel, Heidenheim Encoder 1387 or equivalent, Shaft Winding Coil, Hall Operating Panel, Apollo Automatic Rescue Device or equivalent, and Reed Switches. All replacements must meet or exceed existing specifications and come with standardized manufacturer warranties. The contract covers all costs including materials, equipment, labor, and taxes as directed by the engineer in charge. Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and comply with PEC eligibility criteria, FBR/ATL registration, and demonstrate relevant experience. Joint ventures of up to two members are allowed. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid security must be submitted as a Pay Order to the QMMB office before the deadline. The Technical Bid will be evaluated on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. The successful bidder will be required to provide post-installation repair, maintenance, and warranty services for all components.
