Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited is procuring services for the replacement of canopy top sheets at M/s Askari CF Site located in Sukkur. This procurement is specifically managed by the PSO department based in Karachi, with execution at the Sukkur division. The scope includes removal of old GI sheets and installation of new 22 SWG corrugated GI sheets with powder coating, fixing of 16 SWG GI gutters and cladding, installation of 4" UPVC drain pipes, and waterproofing of the canopy top sheets using bitumen and polyester sheets. The work also involves providing and fixing 24 SWG GI crown ridges and ensuring proper sealing and workmanship throughout the project.
The contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of debris outside the retail outlet premises and must comply with all PSO safety and HSE guidelines. The job requires provision of all labor, tools, materials, and transportation by the contractor. Payment will be made based on actual measurable work done. The work must be completed within 80 days after site handover. Quality and safety are paramount, and the contractor must produce the best quality work while maintaining housekeeping at the site.
Eligible bidders should have relevant PEC categories and must be registered with FBR and ATL. Experience in similar canopy sheet replacement or roofing works is essential. Bidders are advised to visit the site before quoting to properly assess the scope and conditions. The technical bid should include earnest money and CDR as per PSO requirements. Submission deadline is 17th June 2026, and bids must be submitted to the Pakistan State Oil Company Limited office in Karachi.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure thorough site inspection and accurate measurement of existing sheets and gutters to avoid discrepancies in quantities and payments. Proper documentation of the technical bid and compliance with PSO's safety and quality standards will enhance chances of successful award. Timely submission before the deadline and adherence to all terms and conditions will be critical for consideration.
