Replacement of Damaged AC Pipes and Rehabilitation of Al Hira Pumping Station in Korangi Karachi

Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) invites bids for important water supply improvement works in Korangi district of Karachi. The procurement is managed by the Office of the Superintending Engineer (District West). The tender covers two major schemes aimed at enhancing water supply infrastructure and pumping capacity in the area. Items being procured: - Replacement of old damaged contaminated 6" & 4" diameter AC pipes into 160 mm & 110 mm PE water line at Gilaniabad, Madina Colony, Saudia Colony, Pak Kousar Town & Muzaffarabad Khohkrapar - Rehabilitation of Al Hira Pumping Station UC 24 Orangi Town District West The technical scope includes removal and replacement of asbestos cement pipes with polyethylene pipes to improve water quality and supply reliability. The rehabilitation of the pumping station involves mechanical and civil works to restore pumping efficiency. The project requires valid PEC registration in categories C-5 & above with CE-09 & CE-10 for pipe replacement, and C-4 with CE-09 & CE-10 EE-05, 06 ME-07 for pumping station rehabilitation. Bidders must be registered with FBR, SRB, and be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Bidders should have experience of at least two similar works completed in the last 3 years, with one work costing at least 80% of the estimated cost or two works costing 50% each. Financial statements and income tax returns for the last 3 years must be submitted. Bid security of 5% of the bid price is mandatory. The tender fee is Rs. 10,000. The bidding documents are available on the EPADS website of SPPRA Sindh. Bids must be submitted online by 03-08-2026 at 14:00 hours.
