Tender Description
The Punjab Agricultural Research Board (PARB) invites research proposals under the Competitive Grant System (CGS) focused on agriculture research themes with clear deliverables. The key priority research areas include enhancing productivity with sustainability of major cropping systems, promoting diversification and commercialization in agriculture, conserving resources and protecting the environment, increasing competitiveness by value addition, and cross cutting and knowledge based agriculture policies.
Items being procured:
- Research proposals related to crops, plants, livestock & dairy development, poultry, fisheries, forestry, wildlife, ecology, range management, agricultural engineering, and water management within Punjab province.
The proposals must have clear cut deliverables and linkages with agro based industry and commercialization components will be given priority. Scientists from public sector institutions/universities within Punjab can submit proposals using the concept clearance proforma/template available on the PARB website (http://parb.agriuniv.edu.pk). Collaborators can be from any public or private sector organization worldwide. Detailed high priority research themes and sub-themes are available on the PARB website.
Hard copies of the project concept paper should be submitted through proper channel addressed to the Chief Executive, Punjab Agricultural Research Board (PARB), 226-B, Shadman-II, Lahore. A soft copy must also be sent to pardcnproposals2026@gmail.com. The last date for receiving proposals is September 23, 2026.
Eligibility includes affiliation with public sector institutions/universities and adherence to submission guidelines. No estimated cost or earnest money is mentioned.
