Tender Description
The Urban Planning and Development Department Zhob Division is procuring restoration works for minority worship places in Zhob, Balochistan. This tender invites experienced contractors to undertake significant civil works based on the Composite Schedule of Rates 2023, amended up-to-date by the Government of Balochistan. The project involves restoration activities that require skilled workmanship and adherence to quality standards to preserve these important community sites.
Eligible firms must have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-4 or above, including the relevant specialized code. Renewal for the year 2025-26 is mandatory. Additionally, bidders must be registered with the Balochistan Revenue Authority and appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Experience is critical; bidders should have completed at least three assignments of similar nature over the last three years, demonstrating their capability to handle projects of this scale.
The tender requires submission of bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or bank guarantee amounting to 4% of the estimated cost, issued by a scheduled bank. The tender processing fee of Rs. 3500 must be deposited in the government treasury under the specified head of account through the Green Challan Form at the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP).
Bids must be submitted electronically via the supplier dashboard by **26th May 2026 at 09:00 AM**. Tender opening will occur the same day at 10:00 AM on the EPPS system. The office of the Executive Engineer Urban Planning & Development Department Zhob Division is the place of issuance and submission. The bid validity period is ninety (90) days.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all registration documents, especially PEC renewal and ATL certificates, are current and properly attached. Incomplete or outdated documentation can lead to disqualification. Early preparation of the electronic bid and careful adherence to the submission deadline will improve chances of success.
