Design Supply Installation Testing Commissioning of Retrofit Upgradation SCADA System and 500 kV Switchyard Equipment at Tarbela Power Station

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites qualified suppliers and contractors to participate in the procurement for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the retrofit and upgradation of the SCADA system and 500 kV switchyard equipment at Tarbela Power Station, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This project involves replacing obsolete Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) of the SCADA system and integrating new signals from Auto Transformers, Energy Meters, and complete bays into the SCADA system on a turnkey basis. Additionally, the contract includes the design, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 500 kV SF6 circuit breakers, disconnect switches, current transformers, bus bars, and surge arresters for units 11 to 14 at the 500 kV switchyard. Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). They must also hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in the appropriate category. The procurement follows a Single Stage Single Envelope procedure with electronic bids to be submitted via the EPADS portal by 10th June 2026 at 11:00 AM. Earnest Money in the form of a CDR or Bank Guarantee must be furnished in favor of the Chief Engineer (Power), WAPDA, Tarbela, with the original hard copy delivered before the bid closing time. Insurance guarantees are not acceptable. The bid opening will take place on the same day at WAPDA Auditorium, WAPDA House, Lahore, in the presence of bidders' representatives.
