Tender Description
Military Engineering Services (MES) invites eligible contractors and firms to apply for prequalification and issuance of tender documents for works under the office of **GE (A) Attock**. The notice is issued as Tenders Notice No. 01 and concerns road-related maintenance and supply requirements. The estimated cost is stated to be available in the respective tender documents rather than in the published notice.
Printed works/items are: 1. Services and allied installation, construction, repair and maintenance works, including re-carpeting of road and associated works at locations stated in the tender documents. 2. Supply of bazaar material, including paint and related items, for streets and associated MES works in the relevant area of responsibility. Specific quantities, technical specifications, work locations, completion period, earnest money and detailed conditions are to be obtained from the tender documents.
Applicants are required to submit applications for tender documents along with supporting credentials, including evidence of relevant experience in the required field and compliance with the eligibility criteria. The notice requires contractors to provide a certificate that they are not involved in litigation with any Government Department or court of law and that no adverse report from the Directorate General of Defence Procurement or Engineer-in-Chief Branch is outstanding against them. Contractors are also required to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and submit proof of valid registration. Only MES-approved contractors in the applicable categories and with relevant experience should apply.
The notice states that tender documents will be issued only to firms meeting the prescribed criteria. Tenders are to be received by the accepting officer by **the deadline stated in the tender documents/notice** and are to be opened on the same day after receipt time. The printed deadline is not sufficiently legible in the supplied image; bidders should confirm it directly with **GE (A) Attock** before preparing their submission.
Practical tip: obtain the complete tender dossier early, verify the correct MES enlistment category, PEC validity and supporting bank/experience documents, and submit a sealed bid well before the confirmed receiving time. Request written confirmation of the tender opening date, security requirement and exact work locations from the issuing office.
