Tender Description
The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGCP) Karachi office is procuring specialized services for the supply and application of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) Silicone Rubber High Voltage Insulator Coating on AIS Switchyard Equipment at the 500kV NKI Grid Station Karachi. This procurement is critical for maintaining the insulation and operational reliability of high voltage equipment in the switchyard, ensuring system stability and safety.
The technical scope includes the provision of high-quality RTV silicone rubber coating materials and their professional application on insulators to protect against environmental and electrical stresses. The work will be executed on-site at the NKI Grid Station, requiring experienced contractors familiar with high voltage switchyard environments and safety protocols.
Eligible bidders should possess relevant PEC registration in electrical works, valid FBR registration, and a proven track record of similar projects in the power sector. Submission of earnest money in the form of a CDR is mandatory as per tender requirements. The tender documents were initially published in national dailies and on NGCP’s official website, PPRA EPMS, and E-PADS portals.
The bid submission deadline has been extended to 14-07-2026 at 11:00 Hrs, with bid opening at 11:30 Hrs on the same day. Bidders must ensure timely delivery of their technical and financial bids to the Deputy Manager (Grid) office at the 500/220kV NKI Grid Station Karachi.
