Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Sukkur to undertake the provisioning and installation of runway distance marker boards along the BNBA runway under the Pakistan Airports Authority. The scope includes supplying 16 distance marker boards made from 4mm thick A-grade polycarbonate sheets with high-quality 3M vinyl film and diamond grade reflectors. Each board will display numeric numbers 1 to 8 in white on a black base, designed and cut with precision using computer graphic plotters and pressure machines to meet aviation standards.
The work requires careful handling of materials and installation at the airport site, ensuring durability and visibility for runway safety. Contractors must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category and comply with all technical specifications and safety regulations. The project demands coordination with airport authorities for site access and adherence to strict timelines.
Bidders should hold a valid PEC license, NTN certificate, and be active taxpayers. They must submit a bid security and comply with all FBR and ATL requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26. The tender follows the single stage two envelope procedure with bids submitted electronically via the EPADS portal. Original bid security instruments must be submitted physically before bid opening.
The submission deadline is set for 23:59:59 on the closing date, with electronic bid opening 30 minutes later. Physical submission of bids is recommended but not mandatory. The office of the Divisional Engineer ES E&M (Sindh), CATI, Hyderabad, will receive bids and conduct evaluations. Contractors are advised to review all bidding documents thoroughly and ensure compliance with all terms.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to submit the original bid security instrument in a sealed envelope before the bid opening date to avoid outright rejection. Also, verify all technical documents and PEC license validity to prevent disqualification during evaluation.
