Tender Description

Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites bids for the sale of old and unserviceable power transformers and scrap material located at SEPCO Warehouse near 132kV Grid Station Arain Road Sukkur. This procurement is specifically managed by the Chief Engineer (Development) PMU SEPCO Sukkur. The scope includes disposal of various scrap items such as tower brace mix iron scrap, battery scrap, capacitor cells, and burnt water motor scrap. The materials are offered on an 'as is where is' basis and bidders must quote rates for the complete tender to be considered. Interested firms must be registered taxpayers with valid CNIC, NTN, and STRN if available. Bidders are encouraged to physically inspect the materials at the designated warehouse between 21-04-2026 and 07-05-2026 during office hours. The tender requires submission of bids through the E-PADS PPRA portal using a single stage single envelope procedure. Earnest money in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, or pay order amounting to PKR 3,529,605/- must accompany the bid and be valid for 120 days from the date of tender opening. The bid validity period is 90 calendar days. Bids submitted in hard copy or outside the E-PADS system will be rejected. The tender opening is scheduled for 30-06-2026 at 12:30 hours in the presence of bidders' representatives. Eligibility criteria include no blacklisting or debarment by WAPDA, NTDC, or DISCOs, and bidders must provide an undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper. The successful bidder will be responsible for lifting the awarded material within 21 working days of release order issuance, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations. SEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
