Tender Description
Pakistan Railways Lahore Division is outsourcing the sale of platform tickets at ten major railway stations including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Raiwind, Okara, Narowal, Sangla Hill, Toba Tek Singh, and Wazirabad. This contract offers a unique opportunity for interested bidders to manage ticket sales across these key stations in Punjab.
The auction covers the combined sale of platform tickets at all listed stations. Bidders must obtain the application form and terms & conditions from the Commercial Branch at the Divisional Superintendent Office in Lahore by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000. A bid security of Rs. 500,000 in the form of CDR or pay order is required at the time of auction. The successful bidder will be required to deposit 30% of the bid amount within seven days of acceptance, failing which the bid security will be forfeited.
Eligibility criteria include no involvement in litigation or blacklisting by Pakistan Railways. The contract is valid for one year with a possible extension for another year at a 15% increased rate, subject to satisfactory performance and clearance of dues. The auction will be held on 23rd May 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Committee Room of the Divisional Superintendent Office Lahore.
Bidders should ensure timely submission of their bids and maintain compliance with all auction terms. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the terms and conditions and prepare the required earnest money and documentation in advance to avoid disqualification. This tender is ideal for experienced firms familiar with Pakistan Railways procedures and capable of managing multi-location operations efficiently.
