Shifting, Erection & Making Foundation of HT/LT Steel Structure 58', 45', 40', 36' & 31' at Taunsa Sharif

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed tenders from contractors registered and approved by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for specialized field work under EE 04, EE 05, and CE 10 categories. The tender is for the shifting, erection, and making foundation of HT/LT steel structures of various sizes including 58', 45', 40', 36', and 31' at Taunsa Sharif. Items being procured: - Shifting, erection & making foundation of HT/LT steel structure 58' - Shifting, erection & making foundation of HT/LT steel structure 45' - Shifting, erection & making foundation of HT/LT steel structure 40' - Shifting, erection & making foundation of HT/LT steel structure 36' - Shifting, erection & making foundation of HT/LT steel structure 31' The contractor must produce original documents including CNIC of the contractor or managing partner/director. A 2% earnest money deposit in the form of a scheduled bank pay order or CDR is required. The contractor must submit 5% performance security within 15 days of approval of rates. The tender will be received at the office of the Executive Engineer (Op) MEPCO Division Taunsa Sharif on 5th October 2026 at 1:00 PM, with bids opening 30 minutes later. Only contractors pre-qualified with WAPDA/PEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/MEPCO and registered with PRA are eligible. Technical scope includes specialized field work for steel structure foundations and erection at the specified site. Electronic bids are not permitted. Contractors must demonstrate financial capability with cash or cash equivalents equal to 40% of the contract value and provide bank statements for the last year. Tender documents can be obtained from the O/O Executive Engineer (Op) MEPCO Division Taunsa Sharif upon payment of Rs. 2000 after publication from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM until 2nd October 2026. The tender will not be accepted after the closing date. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents are attached with the tender at submission time to avoid cancellation. Also, timely submission of performance security is critical to avoid forfeiture and disqualification.
