Tender Description
Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd. (KS&EW), a prominent Ship Building & Repairing Yard located in Karachi, invites sealed bids from experienced sub-contractors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments for ship repair jobs under Order # CSR-10219. The procurement is specifically for miscellaneous repair and maintenance work related to ship repair.

Bidding documents containing detailed specifications, terms and conditions, submission procedures, bid security, bid validity, bid opening, evaluation criteria, and performance guarantee requirements are available at the Ship Repair Division of KS&EW. The price of bidding documents is Rs. 3,000/= (non-refundable) as per Rule-23(5) of Public Procurement Rules-2004, amended.
Bidders must prepare Technical and Commercial bids in accordance with the bidding documents. The bids must reach the Ship Repair Division, KS&EW by 10 November 2026 at 1100 hrs. The technical proposals will be opened the same day at 1400 hrs and scrutinized against technical prequalification criteria. Commercial offers will be opened only for technically qualified bidders, with intimation by KS&EW.
Eligibility requires experience in marine vessel repair work and valid registration with tax authorities. Earnest money and bid security conditions apply as per procurement rules.
