Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Material Management) invites bids for the procurement of Single Phase Static Energy Meters under Tender No 4392 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the supply of Static Single Phase 2-Wire, 240 V, 10(40) Amps 50 Hz, Accuracy Class 1.0 Energy Meters housed in polycarbonate security boxes conforming to standard specification No. DDS-65:2003 with additional features. The meters must be equipped with fixed long life batteries for display during power outages, safeguard against energy theft through dimmer, and be shielded against strong magnetic fields. They should also have facilities for data retrieval in case of damage, high voltage surge protection, and ultraviolet stability. The meters will display current month demand in KW for 30-minute intervals and must have bar codes printed on three suitable places as provided by LESCO. The polycarbonate security boxes must comply with PEPCO/WAPDA standards with anti-static coating on PCB.

The meters will be delivered to LESCO Regional Stores at Shalamar, Walgon Sohail, and Pattoki in Punjab. Delivery schedule requires 50% quantity within 60 days and remaining 50% from day 61 to 120 from the date of purchase order issuance. Prototype approval from PPMC/NGC is mandatory before mass production. Delays in prototype submission will incur liquidated damages. Inspection and testing will be conducted at manufacturer's premises by authorized representatives. Bidders must be registered with LESCO or any WAPDA formation and comply with FBR/ATL requirements. Bid security and performance guarantees are required as per PPRA rules.
