Tender Description
This tender invites qualified vendors in Quetta to supply advanced sensors and equipment for the Smart Water Quality Monitoring Kit project under the Government Innovation Lab, University of Balochistan. The procurement focuses on high-precision water quality sensors including chlorine, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, pH, electrical conductivity, temperature sensors, and related microcontroller and communication modules.
The project requires robust, industrial-grade components designed for continuous water quality monitoring in field conditions. The equipment must meet strict technical specifications such as IP68 waterproof ratings, MODBUS-RTU communication protocols, and durable housing materials like ABS or PC-ABS polymers. The site location in Quetta demands sensors capable of operating reliably in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40°C, with accurate measurement ranges and fast response times. Injection molding dies for enclosures must be manufactured with high-grade mold steels ensuring long-term durability and performance.
Bidders must comply with all regulatory requirements including valid PEC registration, FBR ATL status, and Balochistan Revenue Authority registration. The firm should demonstrate a minimum turnover of PKR 16 million over the last three years and provide evidence of similar assignments worth at least PKR 8 million in public sector educational institutes. Submission of earnest money via Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of PKR 200,000 is mandatory. The tender fee is PKR 5,000 non-refundable. Vendors must also provide technical datasheets and commit to offering technical support during project execution.
The submission deadline is set for 25th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical proposals opening the same day at 11:30 AM and financial proposals opening on 26th February 2026 at 11:30 AM. Proposals must be uploaded online and accompanied by the hard copy of the bid security delivered to the Government Innovation Lab, University of Balochistan, Sariab Road, Quetta. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all pages of the tender document are signed and stamped by the bidder to avoid disqualification. Also, double-check the Call Deposit Receipt details and tender fee payment to comply fully with the bid security requirements, which are often overlooked and lead to rejection.
